I just read the entire thread, loved it. I test rode a FB 114 at a Harley demo day about a month ago. Definitely my favorite Softail model. Wasn't looking to make any changes, but said, "If anything ever happened to my Dyna Low Rider, I'd give the Fatboy a serious look!"
One week later, a deer clobbers me and totals my Dyna!
I need to heal, won't be riding much this year, but I am already looking at Fatboys.
