So if you are set on doing 117" than just do it. Like others stated. Bit of waste of $$ unless you do it yourself. Speed shop cost will be same for 128" and 117"
To the OP ..why are you so hung up on going with 117 HD cylinders? You can absolutely keep your cam as is, NOT replace your intake, NOT replace your heads and go with 128 cylinders and pistons. Everyone on this forum is correct, its simply not worth the labor cost and effort to do just 117 cylinders/pistons unless you truly just want a 117 badge on your timing cover. If you do just want a 117 badge why??
As far as bragging rights, a 117 is not even much to brag about when there are 128 and 131 monster builds out there .I just dont understand the logic of wanting to spend money on a 117 and state you are purposely not interested in feeling any difference in power/torque. A 117 is not more reliable or something like that so not sure the logic.
To your original question is it possible to just add 117 Cylinders/pistons: YES

Yes i have same ...131 is to much power ...that the harley feeling is going away and want only to drive fast
for me 122 is a beter option ....i was thinking about 117 and 122 but for the touring roadking a 122 is a better option because of long torque band from 1500 rpm till 4500 rpm same torque power ( between 120 Torque )
