Not really I believe it is just preventive maintenance rather then anything else since they were there and it was already included in “kit” price.

In the "kit"? Kit sold/installed by the shop, right?
Lifters are not part of the original SE Stage 2 kit, thought.

My oem lifters started bleeding down fast at around 12k, if the bike sat longer than a day they would be noisy until re-filled with oil. When i swapped the SE cam for my current woods I replaced them with s&s, valve train is super quiet now. I would replace them while there.

Do SE make improved lifters?
My bike will be brand new.

I'm a bit worried about those adjustable push rods...
If something could wrong, it eventually will 🥶

yes it was FuelMoto Kit including lifters and yes SE do not include lifters. You can keep not adjustable (original) pushrods you will just need open heads to slide them in from the top but it is doable. With update to adjustable they just cut original ones and put adjustable so it saves time.
