I put in the latest oil pump when I did my stage 2, stuck with Harley parts, cam plate hasnt changed.
Didn't bother disturbing my oil pump when I did a stage 2 as my 2020 Standard has the latest from Harley, not that I had any trouble with my 2018 M8 either.
There are higher spec oil pumps than just the latest stock one.
Its your bike and your wallet. Spend as much as you want. Knock yourself out and spend 800 on the feuling. Or if you wanna be smart with your money just check to see if you have the new 2020 8 lobe HD pump, if not have your local dealer order it for you. Works just as well for the upgrade youre looking to do
I just did Stage 2 at Fuel Moto on my Heritage and bought new 2020 pump as my bike was manufactured in May 2019 so I didnt know what I got. Sure enough I got old one so yes I upgraded pump cam plate is stock as I felt everything OVER stage 2 would require upgraded cam plate but with only stage 2 I didnt bother and saved some $$$
I actually just posted video on this upgrade on my YT channel where you can see FM facility and everything hope you like this
