Default PIAA Amber Driving Light Electrical Question

Ha guys so improving seeing and being seen, I've installed a PIAA Amber driving light 6 in and I just want to wire it so it's always on when the bikes running, so I'm wondering if I can eliminate all the wiring and just plug it in direct say to the headlight. Thinking I'll use the relay but just chop the wire short by pass everything else no battery direct connect.
What do you think electrical input would be appreciated Thank you

There should be some voltage and resistance info on the lights paper work or their web site. If it's less than 1 amp the additional load on the headlight wiring shouldn't be an issue. It may set a code and check engine light even using a relay off the headlight. There are relays that sense when the engine is running, higher voltage, allowing you to direct feed from the battery using an appropriate sized fuse.

Probably safe amperage draw wise but it may throw a code due to the increased amperage. If it causes a code look into the voltage sensing relays to power the light.

I wired the light in today to the 325B port next to the main fuse it's a accessory port.
