Finished installing a quarter fairing this morning and went for a quick hop. Way better in the looks department and worlds better wind deflection than the factory speed screen.
With the factory speed screen the wind would hit me about the callar bone area, with the new fairing not at all and Im 62. Brackets were from Bung King and the Quarter Fairing was from Fatecim both via Amazon.
Another plus is that it came already painted vivid black, and was super quick to install. All of a whole whooping 30min and I was ready to ride.

looks good .do you have anymore pics of it from the side and also looking toward the inside?
I took these just for you, there inside shots because its raining and Im a wuss.
Nice .is there any headlight bleed backwards into the fairing, or does the headlight seal nicely? I have a FXDXT type fairing currently in use, but have a HD replica quarter fairing sitting around I was possibly thinking of trying out.
I got everything thru Amazon, must have hit special as I didn't get clipped for shipping but then again I ordered about a week ago. As for headlight bleed, I didn't mash the gasket against the head light while I got it very close there is a faint line of light but its so very dim not enough too shine or light up inside the fairing, I could press it a little harder and snug up and it would be gone. But then again its so slight I'm debating on doing it.
Nice!
Always liked quarter fairings all the way back to the Ness' on FXR's.
Curious if you, or anyone with one, did any RPM, before and after test/notes?
Made a med. size fairing and some drag bike inspired lower fork covers .
My RPM dropped 300 @ 60 mph. Over 10 % reduction.
Not sure what that translates to other than MPG's?
Always thought a Quarter Fairing would clean up the turbulent air around controls?
Hmmm, Im assuming if you wished too relocate the gauges too the handle bars for better visuals there is now a ton of room too do so, I would also add a black line dash if going that direction.
