I’d return the head breathers and dipstick vent to stock for the road trip, run the engine oil at the half way mark on the dipstick and just wipe up any oil that exits your air cleaner. I don’t know the mods your engine has but with oil at the half way mark I wouldn’t be surprised if you get very little to no oil from the air cleaner. Once you’re back home and have some time, you can research a good crankcase breather setup if you find you still want one.
