Dyno for softail
I'm having an issue with my new 2021 Fat Boy.
My issue is that I've learned that the H.D. tuner I installed is not adequate for the Bassani pipes and air cleaner I installed. The dealer wants to prove to me with a dyno test that's it's all good. I don't care about H.P. and toque (although I don't expect to lose either with my changes) but rather I made the changes for sound improvement.
My question is; will a dyno test show loss or gain of fuel mileage, too rich a condition, too lean a condition, compression, or anything else that indicates engine health? I don't want the dealer to show me greater than stock H.P. or torque on a dyno graph at the expense of a poor functioning engine. "Close" is not good enough, so I need to know things are right.
Thanks!
