i had a nightrain many years back and loved it. Now retiring and after a 10 year break i have been scanning the showrooms and the closest i think i can come to it is the Lowrider S so i test rode it it and loved it. Then i saw the 2021 Street bob (especially in the olive green) sitting there just ready to test ride so i thought why not?
My god this thing pulls like a freight train with the new 114 in it. It beggars belief what it would do with a stage 3 or 4 in it.
I am past the days of speed but the low down grunt is amazing.
So here i am at home pondering on what is a very nice situation to be in of the street bob or LowriderS
Oh if only i could afford them both.....
I was in the same boat as you. I went in to buy a LRS, ended up with a 114 Street Bob. I decided on the SB because everyone has LRS, plus I am able to do a lot with the 3-4k I saved. Can't go wrong either way.
Street Bob and Fat Bob were what it came down to for me. Ultimately went Fat but the Street Bob is amazing as well. I saw one the other day in the Orange and black. Very Cool indeed!
I personally like the spoked rims on the Street Bob. Kinda wish my Fat Bob had spoked rims.
