I dunno, what's a roach clip? The problem is having a hollow rear wheel spindle with different size holes at each end.
A bit of welding rods fine, but you're going to need a couple of different size tapers to accurately measure from the centre of said spindle, which is what that fancy Motion pro tool has.

I've used tig rod for years to do this, and there are several other methods as well. But since this is my wifes new bike, I'm going to try and be less back woods redneck with it.

It was me; I got the last one. Sounds like @Phil13 got the second to last one. I'm finally throwing my chain conversion and compensator/clutch upgrades on my FXLRS, and decided I'd join you in something more elegant than a tape measure or welding rod. Not that I'm knocking that method.
