The 114 Heritage in Australia is 30K drive away and yea by the way this morning I rang HD Au warranty in Sydney and there might be a 2021 Heritage in the system for a total engine warranty that we couldn't find but we didn't find it. There's no other Softails in warranty for similar either , nor baggers.lol
Fact one you have wrong and I'll screen shot my emails with the engine damage when I get home....im sure harley just share info with you. After all I only have t gve my name address, dob, and rego number everytime I ring
I am really interested in the failure mode of this motor, and the root cause. Is there any info that can be shared?
Mate I've been told the Crankshaft wasn't torqued correctly but at this stage that's all I have. I posted to see if anyone else had anything remotely similar.
Please share anything further that you get. This is the one and only catastrophic softail M8 engine failure I've heard about since the whole sumping problem on the early models, which seemed to be heavily centered on the touring bikes. A small number of softail sumping problems were reported here. I doubt if this forum catches everything on the planet but like most forums there are more failures reported than successes.
A couple of months will go by. I've been waiting on an aluminum manifold since late June, have to wonder if they couldn't source a complete engine quicker than all the parts needed for a total rebuild.

Also that's a bikesales.com.au address not a dealership, bikesales.com.au not a Harley Davidson outlet lol.
$30,000.250 ride away is MSRP as above. MSRP in Australia is the maximum you can be charged ride away in Australia for a 2021 114 Heritage .
The exchange rate is killing you guys, I admire your dedication to the sport!
We actually have a set rate for the bikes/parts/t-shirts etc here so if the USD goes up or down the price is always the same
Bikesales.com.au I have no idea LOL.
