What method does everyone use to mount their phone on their FXLRS or other softail?
I have looked into Rokform and Quad Lock but I know their is a ton of issues with it destroying phones, specifically the camera. So I looked into tank bags with a clear pouch on front but that doesnt seem to really work because of the gauges.
I attempted to find a bar bag with a clear pouch on top but no luck really. What is everyone using to mount their phone?
Also Im not interested in a dedicated GPS device. I dont want to have another device since my phone has GPS.
Thanks everyone. Looking forward to the responses.
I have been using the quadlock with the vibration damper for a year now. I have had no issues with my phone and I ride to and from work almost daily. I have smaller phone (galaxy s10e) if that maybe makes a difference though.
Ive tried both Techmount and Ciro and both have destroyed a camera on an iPhone (one 7 and one 11). I bough a QMount that has a dampener and am going to install that at some point, but will need to remove tank because it has a different system to connect to battery than the Ciro. Im hoping that Ciro announces they are going to offer a dampener, because other than that, I really like their mount
Thanks for the replies. I have an iPhone 13 pro max. Not sure if that will make the quad lock dampener less effective. Thats what Im leaning towards though.
If anyone has a larger phone with the dampener, please give your feedback.

I've had this for around 14000 miles with no issues. Use it on a Galaxy FE S20 and no camera issues either.

I have the same phone as you with the plain quad lock mounted close too the clamp, no problems. The M8 doesn’t wiggle and jiggle like a T/C or Evo does.

Thanks! I might give the quad lock mount a try. Gonna go ahead and get the vibration dampener just to be safe. Should be good for sure then!
