That’s because only 2 companies make that size. The POS Michelin Scorcher and the Metzeler Cruisetec are the only options unless you want to run a flipped rear. The Metzeler is the only real choice IMHO. That’s what I upgraded to and the wear life was significantly better.

Same here... big improvement over the stock Scorcher. But very difficult to find. Dennis Kirk gets them here and there.

You can use a 160/60 18in in reverse on the front, or you can do what I did and get a 150/70 18in and reverse it on the front.
If they were in stock I would have done a cobra chrome setup with a 240/40 r18 in the rear and a 150/70 B18 reversed in the front.

Shinko 005 Advance, Avon AV91/92 Cobra, Dunlop makes a 240 for the Fatboy. Michelin also has the Commander II for our bikes. I had around 4700 on my Scorhers when I put new tires on. Front and rear still looked good, but I was going on a 2,000+ mile trip and wanted the new tires. I have close to 3,000 on the Commander II but it doesn't look it. I did put the Scorher II on the front. Can't feel it in the handling though.
