Default Whiplash Seat for Lowrider S?

Anybody running one of Whiplash's Gambler or Slipstream on their LRS? 22 specifically but probably back to 18 is the same. I bought a Saddleman without looking around, like an idiot and these look pretty nice. Feedback on em if you got one is appreciated.

I had the Gambler on my '21 Street Bob and loved it. That stock seat killed my lower back and the Whiplash fixed that issue. I plan on getting the Slipstream for my '22 LRS if anyone will ever buy my Street Bob seat. I prefer the look of the Whiplash seats over the square *** Saddlemen seats that everyone has but I can't speak to the comfort or feel of the Saddleman vs. the Whiplash.

I have a gambler I used on my '19 FXLR, I replaced it with a mustang touring seat because I wanted a backrest, so the gambler is sitting idle.

Hey friends. Do you all think the Slipstream could work as a two up seat in a pinch? My ST will be mainly just me but on the happenstance that the wife wants to jump on I'd like her to be somewhat comfortable.

Depends really on two things, the size of her booty and her tolerance for discomfort. As one goes up, the other may go down. Slipstream is really narrow and thin but technically still a "2up" seat.

Well to my benefit (and hers) the booty is bigger than average but she also won't be on the bike for too long.

As a side note, I finally figured out my original password.

and FYI - the Gambler sits you further back and down than the stock LR Seat, but is not quite as plush (it's firmer, and the Low Rider seat is pretty plush for a stock harley seat).

The pillion is wider and thicker than stock, however.

C&C makes all seats for Whiplash; Whiplash buyers have also received their seats in C&C boxes, and they're pretty open about it when asked.

That being said, I have the C&C Fastback (aka Whiplash Slipstream). I bought from C&C direct because it came out to be about $50 cheaper even with Whiplash's 10% discount code they give every time you put something in the Cart on their website and leave.

I got mine a couple weeks ago, but have only put on 200 miles because of my work schedule and the weather here in WI.

Initial thoughts:

1. The seats are very firm, just like every C&C seat. However, the vinyl feels high quality, and the padding certainly feels sufficient and I get the impression it will break in nicely.
2. Stitching is perfect (the Chestnut stitching matches the bronze wheels and lettering on the tank).
3. Fitment is tight but it sits perfectly.
4. Seating position on the LRS is a little bit lower, and a little bit back. I'd say I'm about 1" lower and maybe 1/2 - 3/4" back.
5. Seat is wider than stock, and offers good back support

My longest ride so far has been 110 miles and I was surprised that it was very comfortable during that time. I'm normally kind of a sissy when it comes to seats. For reference, I sold my Saddlemen Road Sofa after 200 miles because it was unbearable. I've also never liked Saddlemen, always preferred Le Pera seats, but I can tell this C&C will be my favorite by far just based on looks and initial comfort and quality.

Haven't had my wife on back because she's super pregnant, but I imagine the back seat will be adequate for her favorite kind of ride; the 20-30 minute sprints to and from the local ice cream shops. Anything more than that and I'd say you're going to want the Squareback/Gambler.

I got double diamond chestnut stitching, front and rear, skipped the gel pads, and I paid $470 shipped I believe.

I had the whiplash on my Street Bob and will be ordering one as soon as my FY22 arrives, however RGS88 made me think about chestnut stitching.

RGS88 on another point how do you find the forwards over miss?

That seat is EXACTLY what I want. Might even do that stitching even though I’ll be powdering the wheels black next winter. Think I’m ordering one tomorrow. Thank you for the info.
