I gotta think 18 models and up. My 16 fatboy had the old jiffy but my 19 deluxe has the shittz stand. Honestly though I don't know and no.......there is no fix currently. I would think 3rd party could make some bucks if they could come up with a jiffy for these models..........anxiously waiting.

The design is similar to the jiffy stand, but the execution and materials used are **** poor.
Next time you guys have your bikes up on a jack, round off the sharp edges of the foot with a flap disc. This will help prevent it from digging in to the pavement.

Well opportunity is knocking. Get to designing! Someone could get rich here.
I'm in the minority but I haven't had any issues with mine. I just pay attention and make sure it is completely forward. Until I read this thread I hadn't given it a second thought.
I own a 2021 Heritage 114 and I don't like the new kick stand. I watch the kick stand like a hawk while lowering it and especially while leaning the bike to rest on the stand.
If I could find an old school Jiffy stand that would bolt on without any welding or grinding to fit, I would make the change in a heartbeat.
I was in Grand Island NE last week on my way home from a road trip out West. Hotel I stayed at had asphalt parking lot that looked re-sealed. When getting ready to depart the next morning, the 2018 Heritage jiffy stand had sunk into the asphalt just over an inch. I guess it was entirely new asphalt, not just a re-seal job. Did not think I needed the puck under it. Had a bit of difficulty getting it out. May have happened with the old style jiffy stand, but I doubt it.
Just to verify. The only item needed to be purchased is the leg - 50000185?
I have noticed the need to tilt the bike the other way, but never thought of remedy.
Yep, same here by keeping my foot on the stand, as well as keeping pressure on the stand while giving a tug back on the handle bars just to be sure the stand is locked forward.
Its all muscle memory now & hadn't really even realized I do that until after seeing this thread.
Yep, I do basically the same thing. While I do not feel I have almost dropped it - as many have mentioned, I certainly do NOT have a warm & fuzzy feeling using it. I will not park going downhill whatsoever and, if on gravel, I take an extra minute to clear the pavement if possible to have a solid base. It should snap into place and it just doesn't.
Aside from bitching about the stupidity of the HD designers, I am wondering two things: 1) Do the current touring bikes have the same issue? 2) We are the fifth year of this generation Heritage. Can they not address the problem after all this time? I am sure many riders have complained. Isn't this the type of stuff that gets passed up through the chain and managers share during their conferences with corporate??

Sadly enough - Im sure it gets talked about then so did the cam chain tensioner shoes, sumping, transfer and many other problems - those are/were serious issues - look how long it took for the Moco to address them, some they never fixed.
