Thanks all for replies. I may try to loosen the bolts and adjust, but judging by the way the brackets hold the rack onto the upright, there may not be much wiggle room. Appreciate the responses.
Unless you don't have the lock fully connected to the lower slot, then I would say that you have what you're going to get. You do have your attachment plates on right so I can't think of anything else that would change your results unless there is something different about your Holdfast mount that is different from my Sport Glide.
Definitely angled.
I would loosen all the bolts and see if it locks in place and see what it looks like . If it looks better then start tightening bolts to see where the problem is.
If it does not level then live with it the way it is but it is not correct.
What seat is the Indian sporting? It looks grey/black two-tone?
Not trying to hijack. The rack looks a little canted but if it is seated, then it shouldn't be an issue. it will probably settle a little bit from use. The hold fast doesn't seem to be "overbuilt" and some flex may happen.
My Corbin 2 piece seat is colored the same way, grey with diamond stitch and black outside.
Sorry about adding to the hi-jack.
Now I'm hijacking my own thread. It's a blast. It's really an updated version of a Dyna. It is quick as snot and when you put it in sport mode, you forget about upgrading the cam in the 116. I'm lucky to own both, and if forced to choose, would have to go with the Heritage, because it is far more capable two-up and has better rear suspension. The Indian is more than capable in this regard, though, and I wouldn't be shy about taking it on a long trip solo. It has cruise control and rides very well at speed.
Back on point, I loosened up all the bolts and was able to budge it a smidge, but not sure it really changed anything after I tightened it back up. When I go in for my 1K service, I'm going to ask them about it. Thanks again for all the input.
