i have a 2022 fat bob and i got the kahuna grips and ive tried everything and only the left side comes on, the two wires that come out of the left side i just hooked positive and negative but it doesnt work, does the right side have to hook up to something in order to make it work? ive looked around under the tank a bit and under the seat and i dont see any empty plugs and i didnt get the harness.. any help would be great
out of the left grip it has 2 sets of wires with 2 each, one is black and one is red thsoe two i hooked up and i get heat, the other wire has a black and a black with white strip, hooked those up many different ways and nothing, i even took the set back and got a new set. mmm
any ideas,? does the right grip have to be hooked up to something else to activate that grip that is plugged into the bar ned.
I believe one set of wires goes to power like you have it, and the the other set connects the right grip to the left grip. That wire passes straight through the bars left to right. The left grip has a plug under the the grip that the one set of wires connects to.
yeah ive seen that and man, the bike is different so not sure if the wiring is the same, but do you think that i need to connect the black and black with white stripe to something inside that USB box? i feel like im soo close but its jus tnot working and i dont want to pay to bring it in
ok i found that black clip behind the rubber thing so plugged it in and spliced the left side into the usb wire and it doesnt work, i tried plugging the left side back into the wires that made it work and nothing.. so is there a fuse else where on these bikes bsides just the big one and 3 small ones or could the grips just broke cause i hooked it up wrong or somethign bahah uhhhh
