I have seen stuff about converting older bikes to dual front disc brakes, but what about the ABS models? I would like to convert my 21 Heritage to duals. Has anyone done that? Is it a nightmare with the computer/master cylinder? I plan on changing the lower legs out anyway, so thought it is a good time to get them in dual
Lower legs won't be the big issue. The wheel hub only has provisions on one side for the disk. Most likely someone makes a dual disk hub you'll have to add that to the total costs.
You'll also need a different master cylinder to match the dual disks.
ABS shouldn't be an issue as it based off the wheel rotation speed as well as speed differential between front and rear wheels.

ABS is definitely an issue. The mechanical gain of the brakes is programmed into the ABS. You would have to keep relationship of hydraulic pressure to braking torque the same for the ABS to work properly.
