Hey guys, my wife has a scary bad habit of just getting off the throttle without any other indicator to others that she's slowing down. It's not usually a big deal because I shadow her but as she's riding more on her own it's something that she needs to work on.
I've seen a plugin module that senses the deceleration and flashes your brake lights a couple of times and I'd like to get on for her bike, but I can't find it now that I'm looking. Anyone use one of those things and can tell me a good brand to go and look at?
Tha's almost what I need. The unit I'm talking about doesn't need you to activate the break. It senses deceleration and flashes your taillight automagically.

This is the one I have. It's plug and play works real good. You can set it to flash when you decelerate or for it to stay steady.
Wait this is a thing people complain about?
I've never even though of a decel brake light for engine braking.
Some people do not realize that you're slow down especially in heavy traffic if they don't see your brake lights. This flashes your brake lights when you decelerate without applying your brakes. It's a good safety device.

I mean I get the concept of it, just havent seen a need for it.
We(Motorcycle riders) hardly get rear ended slowing down anyways.
We mostly get rear ended sitting behind a car or at a stop light.
Which is why I lane filter, and sit off the the side of the lane if possible.
