Installed my ST2 today, started the bike and while still sitting on the kickstand, the brake light flashes. Went for a ride as it was getting dark and my brake light flashes constantly. But it's not a consistent flash like 1,2, flash 1,2, flash.
It was like 1,2,3 flash flash, 1,2 flash flash flash, kind of jumping all over the place. Didn't matter whether I was accelerating or not. I'll look at it again on Saturday. Maybe try tilting it back so that it's less sensitive.
I adjusted the angle and that stopped the flashing when parked. But when it got dark and I went for a ride, the unit still flashed and didn't seem to come on when I slowed up. Today I'll switch the wires around. Because this comes from a foreign country, maybe the translation isn't correct.
Quick update, almost positive that I know what my problem is. For the Power wire I tapped into the rear Run light wire. My guess is that it doesn't supply enough current and I need to tap into a switched 12v line.
I was too busy to do that today, but will get to it on Monday and report back.
