I used it on a Fat Bob shock for my Lowrider S, I wanted the benefit of more travel from the longer shock but not the taller ride height.
Still using this shock after a couple of years, no issues.
I have it on my Fatty - love the new look and the suspension feels the same so it is a win-win. When I sit on it you can really tell it is lowered though...the rear fender comes down into the silver on the wheel.
