Lived over your way and went to elementary through high school there (Bethel Park). Moved to upstate NY and suffered winters up there for 15 years. Have been living here in South Central PA since a job transfer took me to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. Winter is not so bad here, just above the Mason Dixon Line.

South Central Pennsylvania has some nice riding. Occasionally find my way out by Bedford and Everret.
That looks more like da U.P. of Michigan - average 240 inches of snow per year in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Only a Yooper could live there. Mostly Finlanders.
They don't get the cold like here in the American Siberia, though.
