in all honesty, it would not be hard to offer patterns for the hole locations. all of the stock holes are still present. and patterning the taillight bracket would not take much either, since i used the factory inner strut bracket.

i do have a slight tweak to the light mounting i want to do, it can actually tilt and raise about 3/16", which would give slightly more tire clearance. this tweak isnt noticeable to many, but i know it is there.

i am actually shocked at how close to the tire, the tail light really is, i weigh 250 plus and when i bounce...it comes very close.

i guess the biggest issue is...DO I WANT TO SEE MORE DOING THIS MOD ????

You did lower the shock height though didn't you? Mind you, if it hasn't touched yet it probably isn't going to. And a bike that pretty would be spoiled by a pillion...

I did do the Fox rear in 12.6
that set the bike to the same a pre 22.

The fender itself it placed slightly lower than the factory mounting holes for the 09. i used the stock seat to help place the location. one other i saw, mentioned using the earlier seat, but several areas were rather "GAPPY" for my liking.

Post #7, show he fender placement, using the rear most 22 strut bolts and then the front is raised to meet the seat. i wanted the rear slightly lower in overall angle, but alot of comments have come about leaving it slight raised. i wanted a lower, longer look.

Did you consider using fat bob or fat boy fender? I thought that those are direct bolt on replacement. I am trying to figure out a way how to modify my FXLRS so that its fender looks more like what street bob has

Edit: NVM, I think I was mistaken, direct bolt-on replacement would be Sport Glide rear fender (if I am looking at the dimensions right..)

i do believe the SG fender is the same...the Fatbob and Fatboy have different fenders, but they are wider and shorter...\
the Street bob has a narrow fender.

i did not see a CURRENT style bolt on that offered what i wanted. the Fatboy / Fat bob offered a style cue similar to the bobtail, but it just wasnt enough fender for me.
