Default M8 Mono Shock

Anyone know if these shocks can be serviced? Meaning the oil be added or changed?

They can be rebuilt, but aren't really user serviceable. You'll need some specialist tools.

Quality Shock Service on instagram could dial one in for you but yeah, not sure about how DIY they are without some special equipment.

I'm OK with a pro doing the service. I'll look for one. If anybody has a recommendation, much appreciated.

Update on the Lowrider ST shock. The small amount of oil that came out was only from the pre-load reservoir. It still operates the top of the shock to load the spring, or not, the same as the shock on my bike. No oil came out of the shock itself. That reservoir is not serviceable. I should be OK. That top part of the shock is the same for both shocks, and if necessary the spring can be compressed, the top part, hose and reservoir taken off as a unit and replaced with a known good unit.
