Theres a couple guys on this forum who have been adding 15 weight fork oil in there rear shocks. from memory its 1200 cc a shockbut if I find it I will bump it up for you
How much oil are they suppose to have in cc's or ounces in each one. And what wieght oil is standard in them? These are off an 07 model.
It's 5 wt oil in them and each one holds 328 cc or 11.09 ounces. I've done a few sets and had no problems with them after they were done. They are a bit of work to add oil to . They have to be compressed and the oil injected with a suringe on the extension stroke only standing upright or it bubbles back at you when you compress them again.
Biggest problem is when people store them lying down without capping the fill and the oil leaks out. The shock is still servicable after a refill with no problems.
