Looking at approaches to make my new 22 HC 114 more appealing to my wife - short of trading it for what I had before, ultra limited low.
I have the "leather" tour pack, but have seen others go with the touring style tour pack with wrap-around backrest (wife likes the arm rests and the big pad) and also a better passenger seat.
I am not adverse to not using HD as my source.
I am wanting to perhaps get a advanblack or similar tour pack with armrests and use the two-up, removable bracket I am using with the leather tour pack if possible.
I am assuming many/some have gone this route and looking for suggestions.
I doubt the HD leather tour pak is rigid enough to mount the touring wrap around back rest and hold up to the load.
Other than looks and additional weight there's no reason you can't mount a touring style tour pak on your softail.

I wasn't planning on using the "leather" tour pack. I was looking at options to get one similar to those found on the touring line. I have ran across multiple tour packs that don't have the speakers and stuff. May go that path.
