Hey Fellas, Just bought a 2018 Lowride with 366 miles from an older gentleman for 8k.
Bike didn't start when I bought it but I replaced the battery & key FOB battery, added ethanol free gas and the bike started right up.
Bike was stored in garage with fuel stabilizer and very little fuel. I didn't drain fuel yet but will this evening. I looked inside the gas tank as best I could like a flashlight and didn't see any rust.
I plan I changing the oil, Trans fluid, & primary.
Anything else I should do?
I already ordered a new pipe, Bars, grips. Thanks!!!
Yea 8k, The guy was moving to TX and didnt want to move it. 8k is what the local HD dealer offered because it wouldn't start. It was just the key FOB battery too!
I would flush the fuel tank, and the brake fluid/ brake lines. That's it. Continue to run the break in oil until you get 1000 miles on the bike, and then change the 3 holes out. A 20w-50 V twin full synthetic in the engine, and HD Heavy Duty Syn 80w-40 in the primary and gearbox. 34 fl oz in the primary, 30oz in the gear box. The Heavy Duty Syn, as noted by many here, makes it much easier to find neutral.

Believe its 36 oz in the primary and 28 oz in the tranny, at least in my 2020 it is.
And the heavy duty syn is 80w-140.
