Are you sure? If you shut off the engine at speed, the rear wheel would still be turning the motor, which can sound like it's running, but of course it won't respond to the throttle.

Keep in mind that this was doing 70 on the highway so everything was happening in a hurry. My main focus was getting off the road. From what I can tell, the engine was still running but no power if that makes sense. No hopping like it was about to stall if that makes sense. If I inadvertently turned the bike off, why would the hazards work?
