2023 Low Rider S 117 Slip On's
I fitted the 49-state Grand Nationals, in satin black and they match the headers perfectly. I followed the advice and left the dB killers in,
The bike compensated perfectly, and I have to say it has a beautiful rumble, really nice bark under fast acceleration and just enough note on the highway not to annoy. This bike is my daily, and I didn't want it loud!
The tune of the 117 clearly has some flexibility, and it runs perfectly. No loss of bottom end at all. I atill get 400km to a tank in cruise. Can so slow speed drills with no issues.
Now its got 4000 on it, the engine has run in beautifully. It HAMMERS!!! Very happy.
I just wanna say though, they have the sweetest deceleration sound you'll hear, a real BRRRRRRRRR! no cough or hiccup which is also a good indicator of tune or leaning issues.
Overall, I am so happy. No cats, no complaints from the wife on the back or the neighbours, but loud enough to let them know I left for work!
Just a bit of an update, the mufflers have now settled in and have gotten quite a bit louder. I am going to check the packing and see if anything can do with an improvement but riding on the stock mufflers right now and I have to say there IS a difference in throttle response. Stock mufflers are way better for general riding.
I've already replaced my Cobra NH with the V&H High output 2-1 with the Dynojet PV4 tune. It's really fulfilled my wants at this point. Definately a better performance than the Cobra NH but still only a cam is gonna get the V twin sound if even.
Помогите, пожалуйста, есть ли у кого сервисный мануал на LOW RIDER S. Нужно узнать сколько масла заливать в переднюю вилку.
Буду очень благодарен.And if anyone has instructions on how to disassemble the front fork, I will be very glad.

8,000km update:
Over time these mufflers have gotten a LOT louder, so I have returned to stock. the stock mufflers (Australian ones don't have Cats, and seem to have more perforations than international ones- see pic) sounds pretty good, I'll be honest. but as I am heading back to 4am commutes, as I was swapping them, my neighbour (who also rides but works shift as a firefighter) walked past, saw what I was doing and said "man, really appreciated!".....
I've also returned to making a full week on one tank of fuel (420km before reserve), which is nice. Stock staying for this bus. "live to ride, ride to work"!!
am I getting old???
Pic, shows Australian muffler exit- excuse the rust (they were in storage, it'll burn off!). They look to have more perforations and definitely have no Catalytic converters in the front (I checked) compared to eslewhere in the world.
