Thanks for the reminder. Yes I did trim about a half inch to clear the inverted forks. The brackets were shipped separate.
I have read positive and negative reviews on each and every company that makes the fxrt fairing. They all end up with excellent results when finished. Great fxr you have there. The blue looks great. I have come close to buying the green with the candy green flame fxr 3 twice. It is one my dream bikes. I had and miss my 92 fxr super glide. I should have kept it.

To bad you're so far from me. There is a mostly original green flame one 25 miles from me. 36,000 miles. $9,800 asking price.
Ordered mine from Advanblack Monday, says 4-6 weeks so we'll see how it does once I get it. It'll be deadass winter here by then so no ride report likely until spring lol.
Rode out to Advanblack a couple days ago and saw the fairing in person. I went ahead and ordered one. Answer to a question asked the stock ST windshield will fit the Advanblack fairing.

This is good to know. It gives people who use this fairing options on windshields as Klockwerks and Clearview should also fit. If I had not already purchased the stock fairing, I would really be looking at this AdvanBlack fairing. Just being able to get it painted from AdvanBlack is a big advantage and a real cost savings.
Jdcustoms released their version too as well as lowers. A tweak they do to theirs is it runs fxrt windshields so a little more wind protection on the edges.
Now that I have put my 114 FXLRS in my hand in terms of ergonomics, and that I love this bike more and more, I wonder if I should invest in a fairing which will be more protective against the cold and the pressure of the air on long journeys at high speed or if I have to sell my FXLRS to directly acquire an FXLRST?
I am interested in the ST fairing that Advanblack offers, and which is sold at a good price in the USA, but with customs taxes, I risk ending up around €2000 once delivered to my home in France, or I could turn to the FXLRT fairing from Dominator which is a brand located in the Netherlands and thus not having additional taxes for a cost of €1482, only the paint will remain to be added which will amount to the same or almost as with Advanblack.
These two solutions allow me to keep my FXLRS which I have already modified a little and which is to my taste or else third solution, change for a second-hand FXLRST, you can find them at €21,000 here with very little mileage. ..
