I'd say it worth poking around at the dealer to see what kind of trade in value you will get. On top of gaining the fairing by switching bikes you're also getting the updated oil pump, the 117 engine, and saddlebags. So there's more to gain on that arguably more expensive option but only you can weigh if that works out to a benefit for you. However if you have your current FXLRS dialed in to your liking and just adding a fairing is the only thing you feel it needs I'd jump on the Advanblack ST fairing kit.
Thanks for your answer,
I doubt that my dealer will make me an interesting offer, I had already tried in the past for other bikes, but the offers were insignificant even for the purchase of a new one, they are all about profitability here.
As for the oil pump, I have a 2020 so I think I have the right one, and I'm not sure if the 117 is that much worth the cost, I'm not looking for a few extra horsepower and my 114 really delivers good sensations, remains the argument of the saddlebags that I know from having had a Sport Glide. All this is worth thinking about...
Now that I have put my 114 FXLRS in my hand in terms of ergonomics, and that I love this bike more and more, I wonder if I should invest in a fairing which will be more protective against the cold and the pressure of the air on long journeys at high speed or if I have to sell my FXLRS to directly acquire an FXLRST?
I am interested in the ST fairing that Advanblack offers, and which is sold at a good price in the USA, but with customs taxes, I risk ending up around €2000 once delivered to my home in France, or I could turn to the FXLRT fairing from Dominator which is a brand located in the Netherlands and thus not having additional taxes for a cost of €1482, only the paint will remain to be added which will amount to the same or almost as with Advanblack.
These two solutions allow me to keep my FXLRS which I have already modified a little and which is to my taste or else third solution, change for a second-hand FXLRST, you can find them at €21,000 here with very little mileage. ..
What do you think ?
you have not done much to your bike, I would trade. Forum member shiftface was debating the same a while back. I told him I thought his bike was to far along. He kept it. He made the right decision I think. I would say trade to your situation.

This is true. They gave a lame azz offer when I asked and it was even less if I returned it to stock. The fairing was literally the only item making me want an ST so now that there's options, it's all good. Might like to have Cruise Control next buy we'll see bout that.
I prefere the old gauges on the tank, I like also the rear end on my bike with the small led tail light above the license plate, I have also cruise control, don't need more...
I could perhaps reassemble the original light and license plate before selling it and thus be able to mount it on the FXLRST, because I really like it more than the original assembly. Otherwise wait until the start of the year, it seems that there will be color on the 2024 model.

personally I think you already have the best color. Looking at that picture of your bike, she is a beautiful machine. Tough choice. But what I am saying is you have not done a lot of add ons .
