Anyone have any experience with this fairing? I used a Reckless fbatwing on my last Heritage but stumbled on this the other day. Reckless would cost around $260 more. I liked my Reckless but I'm not sure it would be worth the difference. The inners look different and the Vector can be taken apart so I can wire usb or 12v power sources, as well as RAM mounts. I'm just not sure I'm crazy about the simulated speaker sections of the Vector. Honestly I think I could get used to it after a couple rides and not notice it. I can take $260 and do LED turn signals. LOL
I've owned two of them, but with the stereo installed. A little vibration but pretty good for after market. Vector does not sell windshield trim but I found that the windshield trim for the older Harley Street Glides 1996 - 2013 actually fits.
Mine is due in in the next day or so along with my tourpack. I'm looking forward to getting my bike all kitted out. Thanks for the pics. It looks great! Did you do the paint or farm that part out?
Just as an alternative feedback if you are interested!? I also searched and compared for a long time for my Heritage and now mine is from Tsukayu (neither Reckless nor Vector), but without simulated vent. It was the best price I found to get a one piece ABS batwing with bluetooth amp and speaker and storage box and already painted black to boot! I'm still very happy so far and would buy it again! Tsukayu Fairing, Hard Saddlebags and Touring Trunk
Upgrade is completed. I couldn't be happier with how this turned out. I may forgo the fangs in lieu of factory type hear lowers. Jury is still out on that. Thanks for the input.
