With a Woods 22 XE and a FM Jackpot pipe and Trask breather should produce decent figures that will probably be enough for me given what the OP's getting from his stock 117.
I'm still confused about manifolds, throttle bodies and injectors and whether you need to upgrade the cam chest and oil pump on the 117.
I'd like high comp/ported heads as well but I haven't found a source for them in the UK yet, since US suppliers all seem to operate on an exchange basis. Shipping my heads to the US doesn't appeal with duty and shipping costs, so still looking into that one.
There is a guy in the UK who'll do all the work and tune it but he won't fit parts unless he's supplying them and he puts a very heavy hike on supplied parts.
Not sure what model you have but a few softails he done 114 /CR485, 129/132 SAE, SE131 custom build /CR540, 154/158 SAE
Yep your correct no UK source for M8 Headwork,same goes for if you want crank welded/plugged/trued.
only easy head option is SE131 extreme purchase, but then leads to might aswell buy the kit.
We are about to try a 132 stock heads(springs upgraded) build to repeat a known formula has achieved 145/160 SAE exh/intake dependant
post 2020 oil pump camplate not needed ,but we do like to fit S&S piston oilers.
