well, you just convinced me to sell my 30/30 cam and go for the F35a like i originally wanted. I am planning on doing a 128-130 kit real soon, and been rethinking cams.
Congratulations on an awesome build. The mechanic at my local dealer tells me he gets similar numbers…120 HP and 140 Tq. in 117s with the 475, a good pipe and Dyno Vision when he tunes. I am planning on going that way with my 2023 Breakout as soon as it is broke in. I just need to figure out the pipes situation. Thanks for posting your dyno and build info.
Wait until you hear how she sounds at idle…lol. It is going to sound glorious. It wll sound as good as it runs!

Decent numbers for a drop in 117 cam.
I'm thinking the same. Minded towards the 128 because unless I've got it wrong, the 128 kit uses the stock crank and flywheel (?). S&S claim theirs is far superior in quality to the OE crank so I'm unsure whether the 117 stock crank will suffice. If it's advisable to fit an S&S crank I may as well have the 131" kit.
With a Woods 22 XE and a FM Jackpot pipe and Trask breather should produce decent figures that will probably be enough for me given what the OP's getting from his stock 117.
I'm still confused about manifolds, throttle bodies and injectors and whether you need to upgrade the cam chest and oil pump on the 117.
I'd like high comp/ported heads as well but I haven't found a source for them in the UK yet, since US suppliers all seem to operate on an exchange basis. Shipping my heads to the US doesn't appeal with duty and shipping costs, so still looking into that one.
There is a guy in the UK who'll do all the work and tune it but he won't fit parts unless he's supplying them and he puts a very heavy hike on supplied parts.
Dyno guy just sent me this.....

Will be interesting to hear how it rides, looking forward to the update once you pick the bike up. I'm still in the decision mode for picking a cam for my 23 ST, down to four and this is one of them, to match my Thunderheader exhaust.
