I need the muffler gaskets P/N 65900017A. Neither dealer within 50 miles have them, and they're back-ordered with no delivery date. How is this possible?
Maybe the MoCo is as bad as some say. Sorry, rant now over.

 

It's not just Harley that's out of stock, everyone is. Cometic is even out of them. Do you need a pair, or just 1?

 

I need a pair- changing slip-ons.

 

I’ll try and remember to look in the morning, but I think I only have 1 on the shelf.

Be careful with eBay for future. Personally I always changed my search to "US Only" I could probably use "North America" to include Canada. But I have ordered things from Amazon and eBay and the "slow boat to/from China" is, unfortunately, a real thing. Amazingly you usually do get it, but you could have easily driven a few states over (worst case) to get the part yourself.

 

Yes, I've had experiences like this, they cannot meet the promise date, then I go back and see I had ordered from China.

I actually picked up two from my dealer yesterday. They said they haven't been able to get the Harley part for months, but get them from Drag Specalties
