There's a lot of screens on the market now, I figure there's a good chance we all want one thread to go visit for inspiration, feedback and thoughts. When commenting please stipulate your height, seat choice and helmet type. Pics or it didn't happen.
Klock Werks, Clearview, HD accessory, AliExpress, eBay etc to name a few.
I'll kick off- I have the HD Accessory deflector. It's pretty awesome for HOT weather, and low speed cruising. looks really cool but does not stop any wind on the highway to your head and chest. It does send clean air though, which is nice.
This is actually the best for the rider I have found so far.
I am 5,10", sitting on a Sundowner that has a Gel insert in it. HD modular helmet or Open face in summer sometimes.
In the upper position, it is 45cm or 17.5" tall, and gives smooth airflow over the helmet. I have tried Klockworks and it creates turbulence. this completely smooths it out, so I am considering trying an OEM HD touring or AliExpress screen to see if it replicates this.
I have a Clearview Large, C&C Fastback seat (sits me down and back 1 each), I switch between a Biltwell Lane Splitter and a Simpson Outlaw Bandit. I'm stacked up at 58 and my bar/riser setup is 17.5.
My stock shield was 8.5 tall. Was fine around town and up to 55mph. After that lots of wind blast from middle chest up. Bad head shake over 60 mph. Id have to duck down to get clean air if I was wanting to haul ***.
Clearview is awesome. Im completely in clean air, no buffeting, no head shake at well over 100mph.
When it gets hotter Ill probably swap back to the shorter one for better cooling while riding.
Eye level view(5'7). Clearview Large. I have a Saddlemen solo seat that moved me back and down about an inch. Probably should have went with the medium. Huge difference in wind protection

Sorry to post off topic, but how does the Outlaw Bandit compare to the Lane Splitter? I currently have the Lane Splitter but I'm not terribly impressed with it (super noisy, which I did expect) and have been thinking of switching to something a bit higher quality and that Simpson was on the short list.

I rode home with a Simpaon Bandit and took it back immediately. It was the most horrifyingly noisy helmet I've ever encountered. Worse than a bad open face !
I now use an HD Modular, which is an HJC, the quietest modular I've ever had.
