The SlipStreamer windshield doesn't have a flip and I was not impressed with it. It actually didn't fit the fairing as well as other brands. The Clearview 18" was pretty good, I just felt it was a little tall for me. I am going to try a Freedom Shields 16" next. I also order another extension that is a little wider than the one I currently have. I will report back with my findings in the future.
Thanks, I'm going to try a few others too. I haven't tried the HD tall screen yet, I'd love to.
I tried all the taller screens to eliminate the helmet buffeting that stock screen had at higher speeds HD, Klokwerks etc. Everything caused buffeting. I decided to try the low profile HD wind deflector. Zero buffeting and it matches the paint / wheels of my El Diablo and makes the bike look like a mini road glide. I tested it up to 95mph. Wind hits about neck level but helmet is in clean air which makes all the difference. Body is still protected by the fairing. The low profile screen makes the bike a joy to ride at higher speeds.

Edit: Im 511 for reference.
I think you are now finding the same as myself and everyone else. I had the deflector and wish i kept it.
Clear view xl with 1/2 inch cut off. I am 6’. I run full forward floor boards,6.5 pull pull back risers and saddlemen step up touring seat with the short pan to push me forward. No buffeting problems at high speed. This is with no helmet and occasional half helmet. I have ran many different set ups and this is the best. I have a klock werks 10” that sucks on the highway. Couple weeks ago I took my windshield off to clean and took the bike for a ride with no shield. I could not wait to get my windshield back on. I can’t see a short windshield being the answer. I have had many windshields and fairings on different bikes and for me looking over the top of the shield and getting the turbulence over head is the best. Not always easy to achieve. Sometimes the problem is the helmet choice.
