I tried the 8" KW, 10" KW and ended up with a Clearview Large. Night and day difference.

Same^^^^^

I tried the 8 and 10 KW, and now have an 8 KW for sale if anyone is interested. 👍🏻 No real issues with either but thought they would have been better. I currently have medium Clearview and like it better than both KW. The large is probably the sweet spot but I’m happy with the medium and the look. I’m 6-0 with a 30” inseam, note your helmet plays a role in this too.

In the upper position, it is 45cm or 17.5" tall, and gives smooth airflow over the helmet. I have tried Klockworks and it creates turbulence. this completely smooths it out, so I am considering trying an OEM HD touring or AliExpress screen to see if it replicates this.

You never really said what this is. It looks like a Madstad somewhat, but I looked on their site and there is nothing for a LRST. Was this an add on that can be install on any shield?

I am 6'1" with long arms and legs and medium torso length if any of that helps and my bars are still stock height.
I’m also 6’1” and experienced and bought exactly what you did. Pretty happy now.

Well there are pages of them on Ebay. It looks like most of them are about 4.6" (11.8 cm) x 11.4" (29 cm). I did find one that had a larger size, 5.9" (15 cm) x 14.5" (37 cm). Pretty reasonably priced, most are around $20. So I do have a few questions. To what windshield did you have this attached? Did it decrease the buffeting substantially? Did it mark or scar the windshield to which it was attached?

So to answer my own questions, I ordered several of these add on windshields. The one I finally went with came from Amazon.
Amazon Amazon
KEMIMOTO Motorcycle Windshield Upgraded Aluminum Metal Heightened Spoiler

On the lowest position it gave good protection with clean airflow. I tried going about an inch higher and experienced some buffeting. I did raise it about 1/2 inch without adverse effects, but I didn't experience any improvement in airflow either. I think that a larger shield would really work much better, but for around $60, it is a good deal.

Sorry man, its been a while. The smooth screen and/ or tall smooth screen are the best. I tried a 10" KW flip, and it creates massive helmet slap. The stock, smooth screen is still the best.

The SlipStreamer windshield doesn't have a flip and I was not impressed with it. It actually didn't fit the fairing as well as other brands. The Clearview 18" was pretty good, I just felt it was a little tall for me. I am going to try a Freedom Shields 16" next. I also order another extension that is a little wider than the one I currently have. I will report back with my findings in the future.
