Default Pullback risers

‘23 low rider s. Looking to add some pullbacks- what are the tallest I can add without adding length to wires and cables? Thanks in advance!

If I recall anything past 6” or so will require extensions. At a minimum you’ll have to reroute the clutch cable at least.

Luckily there’s a ton of aftermarket plug and play extensions that make it super easy

that's right, I fitted 5.5" with 1" pull back risers from Drag Specialities, you just have to reroute the clutch cable on the right side of the frame and turn the banjo on the master cylinder and it works fine...

Personally, and as always, JMHO, I would never add a tall riser to bring my bars higher. I believe it makes the bike appear to be off-balance. Top-heavy of you will. I would let the stock riser stay and allow the focus to be on the bars. Granted you are getting into many hundreds of dollars of materials and possibly labor (if you do not do your own work), rather than just a few hundred.

No one has ever said, "cool riser" They will say "nice bars"

Just food for thought before you pull the trigger.

I don't like high risers too, 5.5" or 6" is enough for me to have a good position on the bike and as you said I find that tall risers like 10" or more makes the bike appear to be off-balance aand look weird...

Guess I should add that I’m only looking to go 6” higher. Nothing crazy. Just want to make sure it’ll work without a ton of mods.

You can add 2" spacers to raise the bars up 2", they will come back a little, plus you can loosen the bar clamp and turn the bar back some towards you... Anything more than 2" higher than what you have will require longer cables. I added 2" spacers and it's almost perfect for me.

I guess after giving it some more thought I think the pullback is more important than the height.

that low is awfullly leaned forward. i went through all this already.
had rediculous 16" apes from PO.
bought 2" tall dirtbike style bars. more ergonomic for me
6" riser. was low but most important it was too far forward.
bought 8" risers. much much better but if it was back 1 or 2 more inches would be much better on the back. 5'8 btw.
brake lines to any length you need are $15 off amazon. bought them for years not a problem yet. even some cool black carbon looking.
the wire extensions are cheap on amazon. the clutch if you need longer you only need to replace the top portion of it. good luck
