Fork slider installation ?
Gotta ? about doing a fork slider swap on my 21 street bob, i currently have a Klock Werks hugger fender on the bob which came with a chrome aluminum bracket for each side so to mount onto the bob slider since the mounting holes are on the back of the slider. But for some reason while mounting the fender' there is a little to much slop with the way they designed it, especially with trying to keep the fender centered up. Needless to say the mounting process is nothing short of a big PITA lol, so it looks like i can snag a used set of 18+ sliders that come off a slim or heritage that have different fender mounting system which will eliminate the pesky bracket. Would i be correct in thinking that pair of sliders from either a slim or heritage should easily swap onto the bob fork tubes ?.

I suppose it would depend on which bikes that fender is designed to fit.
As far as swapping fork tubes, go to the parts fiche for each bike and see for yourself.
