Haven't rode my 2022 Heritage much since I bought it fell and tweaked my already bad back. But one thing it usually won't start until you hit the starter button 3-4 times seems a little worse when it's hot . I don't think that's normal it's bone stock with 11,000 miles . Anyone else have this issue ?
I think you might have a low battery... newer harleys make it difficult (an later impossible) to start the bike if it has a low battery. Take a battery reading with a multi-meter.

It actually has a brand new battery but I will check it . Rode a little over 100 miles today it was hot as hell and the 2nd time we stopped it actually took 5-6 times hitting the starter button for it to start .
Maybe you're not holding the button down long enough, not giving it a chance to start.
The M8 seems (to me) to take a bit longer to catch than older models I've had.
Battery is new verified that it registered 12.9 sitting and 14.4 running . Don't think it has bad gas I've run a couple of tanks through it . Don't think the plugs would be bad I bought it from a dealer I trust. It does have 21 months left on an extended warranty so maybe I'll just have them check it out .

Definitely holding the button down long enough tried that right off the bat Id let it crank over several times didn't matter still won't start until the 3rd or 4th time .
Mine would do that occasionally when hot. Would start to turn over, then get "stuck" at the compression stroke, but would always turn over and start on the next try. It would reset the clock too, pretty annoying. I read about loose battery terminal connections being a possible cause, but I ended up just replacing the battery and it hasn't happened since.
I more meant to pull the plugs and see how they look. How they are burning. Taking it back to dealer if still under warranty is a good plan also. If you trust them they should take care of you.
