22 Softtail streetbob issue

I got some problems where rarely my bike seems like it’s choking and will jerk forward. The rpm’s drop and rise when it happens and it doesn’t matter if I let the throttle down or not it continues til it’s done usually a few seconds. It’s happened a few times now and I’m not sure why. It’s not on acceleration it’ll just happen while I’m cruising

Hey man, welcome to the forum. . My old dyna did that to me a couple times on a ride when I had a loose cable, but it only took a couple times then the cable fell off and then it was dead. miles and motor could help too, if any mods have been done, others might chime in.

Have you checked to see if it is throwing any codes? With the ignition on, press and hold the "multi function" button. I don't know what HD calls it. It's the button that lets you switch between RPM, distance to empty etc on the digital gauge. That will put you into the trouble code menu. Just toggle through it to find any codes. You can google the code to get the name for it.
