A few years ago I had a Dyna getting oil in the intake . I did the homemade bypass and just ran a line under the motor . No oil ever came out of the line which I couldn't figure out until I found this old thread in the touring section. This makes more sense than anything I've read about oil getting in the intake.
just pull the head breathers and put some solid bolts in. It will tighten those rings right up. 😂. Its either that or your oil level is too high.

Oil level is not to high , I'm on the fence about pulling the head breathers . I know people who have done it but you said you were told not to do it and I've heard that also . . It's very easy to bypass them about $30 and an hours time. .
I installed a new Drag Specialities air filter and haven't had any oil in the intake since .
I'm not sure if it was pulling oil out of the old filter it was saturated or because it's breathing better it's not sucking it out of the lines going into the intake . The combination of the NiceCNC cover and new filter is working for now .
I dont know if you absolutely need to keep vacuum. I did it on the advice of another member. I bought the valve on Amazon. I only rode with it 1 time so Ive not seen any difference yet.
Been looking for a cool one way valve, thanks it on the way.

Funny they just came in less than two days and they were in the mail box, one blows pretty easy and the second takes a little more effort so I will use the easy one. Guess I have a job ahead of me next weekend off.

At the moment I have no check valve on my NiceCNC and it's working great . I also have the new Harley Cover it has no valve in it either .
