Oil Pump Replacement

I have had to replace my oil pump 3 times on my 209 softail.
Anyone else have this issue ?

Have you ever checked the crank run out? Cause 3 oil pump replacements is very abnormal

No softails, but TCs. My 2007 has 80k and 90k on my 2001. I replaced that one a fueling at 90, for the heck of it.

What happens when they fail? How many miles?

I had a 2009 fat boy for 16 years and traded that bike in on my new 2025 Fat Boy 2 months ago.

Still had the original oil pump.

If I had to do it again, I'd get the S&S Cam Plate and oil pump instead of the SE plate/pump.

My 2004 has 50k on it and all is good. Even still has the original cam chain tensioners.

All it does is sits now however. We are only in VA during the summer. Did a fuel PM on it a few days ago. Hadn't ran in 6 months.

Charged the battery and it started right up. Put a few miles on it to get the oil back in the oil bag. Still runs like new.
