Looking for a HIGHER passenger back rest for my wife on my 2026 Heritage ... wasn't a problem on my 2017 but with the NEW bike, a 2026 Heritage I cant find a Higher rest, the STANDARD one from HD, part number 52300446 sits right on the saddle and gives no upper support to her... HD does have a one piece tail rigid mount part number 52300502, that I ordered to check out but due to its design I think its going to be more about looks then comfort...and I will not be able to add a rack to this one. Does anyone know of a taller unit like on the older models that uses the quick mounts or bolt on, I am fine with both, but is strong and can take a mount ???

I had the exact same problem with my 2020 Heritage. I went through the same fruitless search you did. I ended up buying a Motherwell, mainly because I knew they made high-quality fender racks. The taller backrest is marginally better, the wife says, but in my opinion does not stand up to the quality of their fender racks.
I have this one. Black Sissy Bar Backrest for HarleyŽ Softail '18-'25
Sits a little higher off the seat, and bigger surface area. Lady feels really secure with it. Of course, my last bike was a fat bob that just had a low naked bar, so opinion might be biased. It kept her from sliding off, not high enough to lean into or give any real support. First time with it she said it was like riding on a dresser compared to the old one.
