Default 2024 Police versions

https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...mBxh2r8NYJf7_0

available for civilians to lease (new option for 2024 on all models) or purchase and new RG version .. says 3 year warranty but that may be only for ones purchased by the Police Depts

and these 114s have peak torque of 122 at 2750 rpms but the Road Glide special 114s are 118 at 3250 ... does that indicate tuning or different cam spec profile ?

From their page:
...
ordered for police use will now have a limited 3-year, 60,000-mile warranty.

Would lead toward CAM. More torque lower RPM. Tune will not make that much difference.
Likely the RG version is setup for High RPM running and like little higher HP numbers.

I think the difference in torque and coming in at a lower RPM would definitely indicate a different cam for the police bikes. Makes sense they would want more torque in the police bike for better low speed maneuvering performance.

not so sure which is why I asked..even dyno tuning with the lowly SEPST on my Stage 1 107 resulted in increased torque at lower RPMs .. from their published specs it would seem the minor differences are well within the tuner's capabilities

In talking to our dealership Sales mgr he said there is a 5000 mile annual limit for lease option because their studies show that is about the ownership average

I’m interested in a new FLHP.
...without trading my ’22 FLTRXS. Now to figure out which bank to rob to pull it off.

I was just researching if I could swap the black headlight nacelle for a chromed one.
Based on 2022 replacement parts (since they didn’t make a standard FLHR in ’23) $883.90 for the two chrome halves of the nacelle, and $107 for the chrome clamp cover (which would have to be drilled for the stud post to mount the tach).

A cool grand for a chrome head light cover.
