Default 2024 CVO has Cardo not Sena?

This slipped by the announcement. The CVO will come with the Cardo unit. I don’t think the Cardo mesh and Sena mesh connect. I guess we can revert to straight Bluetooth.

I hadn't heard that. Sounds like a positive.

It's about damn time. New owners will love it, other than possibly having to invest in new gear after a bike trade.

I think they will connect. There is a group of Cardo videos on You Tube. Search for Cardo and you can find some videos showing how to connect the Cardo's and Sena's.

So, what makes Cardo better than Sena?

I bought the Cardo PackTalk Edge last fall when I bought a modular helmet. My choice was based on the best sound. Reviews gave the JBL speakers an edge over the HK speakers.
I don't ride in groups, and my wife is not interested in using a unit, so may never use the Comm part of the unit. Cardo claims to be waterproof and Sena does not, this also helped me make the decision to go Cardo.

Hopefully some of the guys who know these units will chime in, I'm just learning.

I read the thread below and connected my Cardo to the bike using a Sena Freewire. The sound in the helmet is great.

It's interesting that in the description above that you can purchase the Rockford speakers for better sound quality.
