Seems like they forgot about the Ultra Limited this year? I've been thinking of upgrading from my 2015 Limited (75K miles) to a new Limited soon - as my "forever bike". I'm getting ready to retire within 4 years and would have the bike paid off before retirement this way. Seems the only upgrade from my '15 would be M8 engine and minor upgrade to (already outdated) radio. Think it's worth the jump now or wait for next year to see if anything magically changes?
I’m curious what makes Limited a limited ? In the past it was wet heads, lowers, which hosted the radiators, tour pack, mid frame deflectors. Did I miss anything? So now all models come with wet heads, tour pack and deflectors are available via different packages in “build your own bike” the only part that still not available is lowers. I wonder if HD decided to “make” Limited via package configuration.

2014 Ultra Limited - CB Radio, 2 Fobs, Fender lights, Hydraulic clutch...2024, none of the previous plus about $12-$15K more. Seems we should be worried more about "downgrades" than upgrades!

Yes they cut out a few things over the last few years. On the other hand, compared with a 2014, the new models do come standard with a 114 c.i M8 engine, a luggage rack on the tour pack, heated grips, a nicer audio system, Carplay/Android Auto capability, and LED headlight and aux. lights, plus some new options like RDRS that weren't even available back then.
As to the OP's post, I'd either buy a leftover 2023 (if you can find a deal), or wait until next year to see if the 117 engine and new fairings make their way to the Ultra Limited.

2014 Limited had the rack, heated grips, the bigger infotainment, and LED headlight and passing lamps as far as I recall?

Yes, you're correct, they're all on the '14 plus I've upgraded the maps in the infotainment system and it still works fine. I guess the M8 is the big plus but that's not been without its share of problems. My 103 has been bullet-proof after 53K miles and has plenty of power for me. I think with the new ones you can't get a CB anymore but I know most of my Club got a CB installed (at over $1000) as soon as they bought a newer Limited, we still use it exclusively on our rides.
