Non CVO, factory tune and no tsb ecm update went 105 mph still pulling strong when I backed off, steady as she goes and planted solid. Now for my 1K service and see what they do

as far as we know, yes..but I don't recall anybody reporting here yet they have exceeded triple digits on either so figured I'd report the overall results of my little experiment since I took the time to do it
That is correct, the fixed fairing road glides didn't have the same issue.
OP, Bike should be able to hit 120+
maybe if I drop it off a cliff, with no updraft I had some safe space left and was tempted to bury the needle, but our State has a mandatory one year license suspension for speed in excess of 100 mph so that would not be a great start to a new riding season on a brand new bike, so I aborted the mission to play another day and I accomplished the validation I set out to
it just occurred to me I didn't explain the purpose of my speed test..but it was a result of another poster stating it would be interesting to see if anyone on a new 24 SG or RG had tried to exceed 100 mph in order to determine if the 2024 production release models left the factory with a calibration prohibiting that .. or something like that .. I was just waiting for a dry day to be the first to 'take one for the team' and provide a report is all, which I happily obliged
Are you saying you havent updated it yet? Sounded like the TSB M1632 update is the one that may limit you to 100mph
correct, but a poster asked if there was a chance some left the factory updated, seemed a stretch and there are reports since that it does not appear they piggybacked the speed reduction update onto the no start tcb..all I can say is my 24 after two weeks and -800 miles has never failed to start and goes over 100 mph Ill know soon what, if my vin even needs the tcb, and if it does, what all it does in the meantime been enjoying the hell out of this bike!!!
