2024 Streetglide Apple Carplay
So I connect my bluetooth media device and apple carplay comes on screen. It tells me I have a text, but wont let me read it. It just spins like I asked for siri. also, I can scroll left/right only 3 screens and cant see all my apps. Help!

Who cares about text messages while riding a motorcycle (or driving an auto)? Many times I do not even bring my stupid phone.

CarPlay is great at reading text messages until you get one from UPS. It can take a full 10 minutes to read a few tracking numbers to you. A real treat with gloves that don't let you touch the screen to stop it. 🤣

Clearly the OP meant hear text messages. I have been in this situation many times with car play, both on the bike and in my car. Even when the signal was strong, if I had some sort of impediment like a parking garage or my own garage at times, I could experience this issue. Usually moving to a different spot solved the issue.

OP; Follow these steps:
1. Receive text notification
2. Pull over, off main roadway & stop
3. Shut bike off in safe location
4. Take out phone
5. Unlock & scroll through text messages.

JK...my phone stays locked in saddlebag until I stop for a break...unless emergency, not needed.
